Reporting to creditors on insolvency assignments is covered by the Companies Act 1993 and the Receiverships Act 1993.
Shareholder initiated liquidations
As liquidators we are required to report to creditors within 5 working days of our appointment. We will send subsequent reports every 6 months from the date of appointment. A final report is sent to all creditors proving in the liquidation when it is completed.
Court appointed liquidations
We are required to forward a first report to creditors within 25 working days of our appointment. Subsequent reports will be sent every 6 months from the date of appointment. A final report is sent to all creditors proving in the liquidation when it is completed.
Receiverships
Reports are not required to be sent to creditors apart from the grantor unless requested. A first report must be prepared within 2 months after our appointment. Subsequent reports are prepared every 6 months from the date of appointment. A final report is prepared when we are released as receivers.

Click on Search the Register, enter the company name next to the magnifying glass icon, and click on the company name when it appears in the drop down list. When the company’s page appears, click on Documents and select the report you require from the list shown.
